Electrical Engineer
**Onsite in the San Diego Office: 5629 Copley Drive, CA
Firestorm as a company grew out of the simple question: how does a US ally country with a respectively low defense budget deter an aggressor state entity with a vastly larger war chest? We’re building the very answer to that question, something we call “democratized deterrence.” Firestorm is a VC-backed, defense-meets-Silicon Valley technology company developing mission-adaptable aerial vehicles to put the power back into the hands of the operator. We aim to upend the current defense procurement cost paradigm by bringing world-class capabilities to bear at meaningfully lower costs.

As an Electrical Engineer at Firestorm, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and scaling of electrical systems used in our innovative UAV platforms. You will work closely with manufacturing processes and system integrations from the initial prototype stages through to mass production, ensuring quality and reliability throughout the development lifecycle.
About You:
You are a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with substantial experience in manufacturing processes and system integrations. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy solving complex technical challenges while maintaining a hands-on approach. Your ability to communicate effectively and document processes will be key to your success in this role.
